The waiting and planning is over %%First Name%%! Like a gift from the heavens the white powder has arrived and just in time. We are all go for 2010 Coronet Peak celebrated first as she does each year being the eager kid in the front of the queue, with Mt Hutt following suit this weekend. Next weekend it's the turn of Turoa, Lyford, Dobson and the Remarkables. I've heard also that Manganui has done a sneaky and opened up early too. Good for the eager North Islanders that can't wait for Ruapehu. It's a truly lovely time of year and I believe Max Bervy of Warren Miller said it best last year…“When it's cold and snowing, others run inside. But skiers and snowboarders do the opposite, no matter how old we are”. There's plenty of news and events going on around the country over the next few weeks and we have tweaked our site a bit to ensure ease of access to news, reports and webcams. So have a hunt around for what you need, guaranteed if we haven't got it, it's not worth going to. Facebook fans take note! We are on the cusp of having 3000 fans and to celebrate we are giving away a double day pass to either Coronet Peak, Mt Hutt, the Remarks or Treble Cone – Your choice!!
