Skia ora %%First Name%%,
The NZ University and Ozzy school kids have been enjoying the slopes over the last week. From this weekend NZ kids and families will flock to the slopes for the start of the New Zealand Winter School Holidays. With the holidays comes the school holiday events. The CHILL Grom Fest kicks off for the season at Cheeseman this Saturday. The first of three events, this comp is open to kids ages 6 to 13, from those that want to give it a crack to aspiring athletes who want to emulate the Wells brothers.
The forecast is a game of two halves this weekend with the remnants of the low moving eastwards off the North Island and a new cold front moving onto the south and east of New Zealand giving the low some invigorated energy. The Chatham’s are in for a blast. What this means is the best riding will be in the South on the Saturday. If you're at Ruapehu check the conditions out early on Saturday that will be your best bet for the weekend.
