So I just found out I am ranked Number 1 in the world on last seasons points list!! Stoked.

STOKED is an understatement!!!!!    After the excitement of my first ever World Cup win in Canada earlier this year, I have just found out that my consistent results through the season has landed me in 1st equal on the 2012-2013 World Ranking points list. see:
Congrats also to Evan Strong from the USA sharing the top spot and Keith Gable also of the USA for 3rd.

With my 2012-2013 Northern hemi season starting off with double gold in Landgraff, Holland back in November, I have no doubt that this helped set me up with what has been my most successful season racing to date since starting competing in 2007.

So it appears that my hard work and the fantastic support I have been receiving over the past year is really paying off.
All my sponsors and supporters have been super supportive to help me reach gold in the 2014 Paralympics. Thanks to - AMP,, Smith Optics, Volkl Snowboards, Base NZ, Cardrona Alpine Resort, High Performance Sport NZ, and of course my wife Aleisha!

Since finishing the northern season I have been super busy preparing for the New Zealand season. Between working and family life at home I have been spending a lot of time at the gym ensuring I make the most of the off season to get in the best shape possible for the season ahead.

Look out for the World Cup race here in NZ as part of the New Zealand Winter Games, All the best riders from around the world will line up at Cardrona Alpine Resort on the 19th August for the first world cup race of the 2013-2014 season.

Cant wait for the start of the season in 2 days!! and looks like it will be an epic start. We received 30cm at our house on Mt Maude last night and today and most resorts are claiming 80cm plus from this weather system!
